We would like to warmly welcome Jiamin to the ConnecThings team as Lifang takes a break from writing to do her [thesis] writing. Please
keep them both in prayer, for it is God alone who gives gifts i.e. of writing, and opportunities to use those gifts.

CONNECT SHARING

Proverbs 30:4
“Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Who has gathered up the wind in the hollow of his hands? Who has wrapped up the waters in his cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and the name of his son? Tell me if you know!”

We thank Pastor Kul Bal for the honest and humorous sharing of his conversion experience. It was a sober reminder: are we still struggling with our own idols, living hypocritical lives ? Until we make our lives right with Jesus, we’re just living for a convenient way to get to heaven without the commitment.

Pastor Kul’s sharing about the cases in his ministry of healing inspired us with a greater faith, brighter hope and deeper love for our God. By the power of the Spirit, the lame walked, the deaf heard, a deformed baby was made perfect and hundreds of people brought into His kingdom. Praise be to God!

We must be culturally sensitive when we witness. We will go through obstacles and struggles, fearing man’s opinion of us more than God’s opinion...but if we can be so excited about sharing the latest news/eating place with our friends and family, why can’t we witness with the same passion and readiness for Christ as well ?

God has given us gifts and tools for evangelism. We need to pray for opportunities and boldness to use them, and pray that those we’ve touched will have more passion for Jesus.

The evening ended with an altar call of healing, and many of us came forward to be prayed for, anointed afresh and powerfully healed. All glory and honor and power to Him alone! Amen.

In Christ,

Gloria and the rest smile
