Still contemplating signing up for 24-7 Prayer Week? Here’s just a few of the many pieces of feedback we got from the last one…

1. How can it be we say 24/7 Prayer is a good thing but not commit to the prayer room/ prayer for the rest of the year? Let us continually come here to be refreshed and come back to God.

2. Praying with friends so intensely & openly, something that seldom happens day-to-day.

3. Prayers are the ‘heartbeat’ of this church. 24-7 should continue to sensitize the church members to God, and draw all of us together as the fabric of this church, with God at the heart of hearts. This prayer room should continue as a sanctuary, where we see, touch, feel God’s intimate presence. His presence is so palpable here… Amen.

4. What I liked most about 24-7 Prayer was the engaging of all aspects of prayer. Make this room into a permanent feature where all can make this a prayer closet.

5. It is such an intimate time with the Lord. The way the room is created gives me the ambiance and the environment of being alone with God. I pray others will be able to enjoy such a time alone with God.

6. Prayer can be fun!

7. The room is so conducive to prayer and worship. All the right tools and variety of ways to experience God.

8. Time is diminished. My walk with God is increased.

9. I hope the church will catch the spirit of worship & prayer extended unto their family and home.

10. It is great to see the church united, coming together, hand-in-hand to worship our Lord Jesus.

11. I liked seeing the body of Christ just really coming together in a real act of commitment – anytime, any day.

12. I saw and conversed with God in the little corner of ‘heaven’ ☺

13. I like that prayer can be done in more than one way.

14. Lots of people must have been crying to the Lord – the tissue box is empty!

15. 24-7 Prayer is liberating & empowering. Awesome. So big a feast to the eyes & the spirit. What a treat – a Prayer ReTREAT. It is a real makeover – spiritual ‘manicure and pedicure’ – God’s hands and feet.

16. A refreshing place where we once again are reminded of his GRACE & MERCY.

17. It was a different approach to prayer and the atmosphere really embraced the mood. It was simply awesome.

18. I realize time flies when you do things you really enjoy.

19. It is a good place to forget everything and reach out to God. The moment I stepped into the room, my head spun. As if I had been yanked from the world to be with Him.

20. I found myself much more able to pray for others. Praise God!

21. Regretted signing up for an hour! Wish I could spend a whole day here in his presence – like a personal retreat. Thank you, Lord for this opportunity to meet & fellowship with you.

22. One hour (to pray in the room) is definitely too short. I believe this 24-7 Prayer is the torch to light the flame of revival in SJC.

23. An amazing breakthrough for our Church towards a more intimate understanding & love for God!

24. It was a great time of prayer & reflection. Prayer time has never seemed to go by so fast. Loved it.

25. A whole new level of praying! It really helped a visual person like me reconnect!

26. I wish I could stay here longer. Now, if only my room was like this… I bet I could really see God! His presence will be overflowing out of the room that my neighbours can feel the blessing!

So do be encouraged to take a step of faith as a family (be it your biological one, your spiritual one, your cell group, your friends, etc.) to pray and fast together and to ignite the fires of revival for St James’ Church, to rebuild our spiritual lives, even as the church building is being rebuilt!
