At last Thursday PCC meeting, a decision was made to use the SJCK Hall at Harding for our weekend worship Services. This is a good move for all the obvious reasons. If we stick with our construction date of June next year, we should be implementing our relocation plans by the 2nd quarter.
Have you started publicizing the Family A’fair to your friends and family yet? Please do! You can expect the usual home cooked ‘you can only buy it here’ food and various game stalls.  However, this is a carnival fair with a difference. It will be held in the beautiful ground of Harding with large tents set up. There will be 35 tables in a cafe setting for people to sit, talk and sip Arabica coffee. There will be a stage where entertainment items will go on throughout the event. I can imagine that this will be a very fun event for all, especially families. It should be quite easy to encourage your friends to come. Start doing now.
The funds are still coming in for the new building project. Continue to do your part and share the vision with your friends. Ask and you will receive! For your encouragement, we receive a gift of S$50,000 from St Andrew’s Cathedral this week. Our nearest neighbor, St John’s Chapel, has also pledged a sum of S$40,000 to be given over a four-year period.  It is great to have our Anglican parishes sharing in our work and ministry.
About 10 guests have indicated that they will participate in the next round of Alpha. That is great. Is there someone you know whom you have yet to invite?
