History of JYM
Theme for 2011
 

We are a youth ministry under St James Church. We hold our regular sunday meetings from 2pm to 5pm weekly.

We reflect our emphasis on the life and Lordship of Christ, focusing on the six foundations and reaching out to youths between 12 to 22 years old or anyone who is young at heart.

We focus on the six foundations on which JYM is built upon:

1. A proper concept of Jesus Christ.
2. An attitude of prayerful dependence on God.
3. An emphasis on the importance of dwelling in God's Word.
4. Cultivate an atmosphere of love
5. Emphasize a biblical group image
6. Engaging in a consistent contacting ministry.

[G] ROWING JESUS YOUTH MINISTRY IN SIZE AND DEPTH
- To grow to 200 strong youth ministry
- To grow in our relationship with God and JYMmers thru the discipleship and cell group
- To atmosphere of love by creating a sense of belonging and a fun time with accountability and authenticity
- To maintaining a good link with the newcomers
- To focus in God's word-sermons, memory verse

[R] EACHING OUT TO NON-BELIEVING FRIENDS, FAMILY MEMBERS, COLLEAGUES AND SCHOOL MATES
- To reach out to at least one non-Christian by inviting them to our Youth Alpha special tailored for pre-believers.
